The idea behind The Little Door premium drops was born back in 2017 in California. At that time, after almost twenty years in the world of wine and sommelier work, I took another step and began working as an assistant winemaker.
It was there that I once again realized how fascinating the world of plants, varieties, aromas, flavours and natural differences truly is. And also how often this world is simplified.
With wine, people often speak about colour, price, country of origin or a favourite label. But only a smaller part of the audience truly understands the difference between individual varieties — their character, origin, expression and what they can offer.
I see the cannabis plant in a very similar way.
Cannabis is not just one plant with one meaning. It is a diverse world of varieties, profiles, aromas, resins, terpenes and natural differences. Each variety carries its own character. Its own rhythm. Its own depth. Its own direction.
This diversity became one of the foundations of The Little Door collection.
In winemaking, there is a beautiful concept: blending. The art of combining individual varieties in a way that creates something deeper, more balanced and more interesting than each of them could offer on its own.
We approach the TLD collection in a similar way.
Our vision is to combine carefully selected cannabis varieties to create blends with a clear character, their own intention and natural depth. For us, it is not only about the numbers on the label. We care about origin, the quality of the raw material, the profile of each variety, its natural aroma and the overall impression the blend creates.
The Little Door is not an anonymous product from a catalogue. Each blend is the result of selecting specific varieties, working in small batches, gradual refinement and the effort to preserve the character of the plant as faithfully as possible. In the details, the origin and the craft approach, we see the difference between ordinary drops and a collection that carries its own signature.
The Little Door was shaped by experience, observation, feedback from customers and people close to us. It is not a product created overnight. The first idea was born in California, but the journey to the final form of the collection, as you see it today, took almost three years.
During that time, not only the recipes themselves were formed, but also the entire direction of the brand. TLD was never meant to be an ordinary range of drops. It was created as a timeless craft collection built on origin, experience, detail and intention.
With The Little Door, we are not interested in mass production or an anonymous product based only on a percentage of CBD. Each batch is made in a limited quantity, from specific varieties, with respect for their natural character. The selection of the raw material, separate work with individual varieties, the blending process, the carrier oil, the packaging and the ritual surrounding the product all form one complete whole.
That is why we do not see TLD as just drops, but as a craft collection with its own signature.
Each batch may be slightly different, just like wine. Not as a flaw, but as a natural imprint of a specific raw material, season and the varieties from which it was created.
Each bottle has its place. Each blend has its own rhythm. Each one is created as a whole, not as a random combination of ingredients.
That is why The Little Door collection is not built around one universal answer. It was created as a set of four blends for different moments of the day and different inner needs.

The name The Little Door was also inspired by California. I once heard from an older generation that small doors carry a hidden meaning: if we want to pass through them, we must first make our ego smaller.
Today, I understand this meaning more simply. As an inner decision. To stop. To breathe. To understand something. To change direction. To take a step. Not for others, but above all for ourselves.
The Little Door is not a magic potion. It is not a shortcut or a promise that it will solve a difficult day, restlessness, fatigue or a scattered mind for you.
It is a tool. A companion. A personal ritual in a hectic world.
Sometimes it can be a reminder that it is time to slow down. At other times, a gentle impulse towards focus. Sometimes part of an evening ritual of stillness, sometimes a small symbol of returning to yourself. It can create space for calm, attention, rest, renewal or your own vision.
But the step itself always remains yours.
In a time when people often look for quick solutions, greater performance and instant results, we wanted to create something quieter. Something that does not lead to more pressure, but to more presence. Not towards having more, but towards being more present.
